A perfect Season!

After a successful regular season including district and regional tournaments, the Madison Warhawks Boys Lacrosse team opened the state tournament on May 31 against W.T. Woodson Cavaliers.

Winning handily 6-3, it was on to the semi-final game against the South County Stallions.  That one turned out to be a nail biter as Madison ran out the clock with a one point lead.

That set up the first state title game in six years and only the second in school history. They took on the fearsome Robinson Rams team and delivered an 11-3 victory.

The Warhawks under Coach Aaron Solomon brought home the state championship trophy for first time in the 29 years that Madison has fielded a varsity lacrosse team.  Congratulations, guys.
