The yellow machines are out in force on the parcel of land known as 245 Maple Avenue West, previously occupied by the Marco Polo Restaurant which burned down in June.
The site is being cleared of rubble and graded as the first steps in creating the Vienna Market complex, which is in final steps of approval.
Vienna Market will be a three to four story mixed use development with commercial space at street level along Maple Avenue. It will be bounded by Pleasant and Church Streets and an existing bank building to the East. It will have 44 condominium units total.
Access to the interior of the development will be afforded by a U-shaped drive off Church Street called Market Street. This is an architectural rendering looking north across Maple Avenue at the Pleasant Street intersection.
