The Biggest Moon You Will Ever See

Originally published 8/10/14The Moon’s orbit around the Earth is not a perfect circle. It is an elipse, and the distance from the Earth to the Moon varies significantly.

Tonight, the full moon coincides with the closest possible distance, resulting in a rare SUPER MOON, which is 15% larger than average.

It may be cloudy tonight, but it will still be great viewing for Monday and Tuesday.
