Work Begins on New Police Station

Workmen are making progress at new Vienna Police Headquarters at 215 Center Street, after a ground breaking ceremony January 29. At the moment, they are clearing the site of the remains of the old building. Utility connections and foundation work will begin next month./

This new facility will be approximately 30,000 square feet and allow all police divisions to operate out of the same location. Our town’s 41 sworn officers and 11 civilians will have increased capabilities, thanks to upgraded technology and security features.
